When you click the "Remove marketing fluff" button, the extension reads the visible text of the page you are viewing and sends it to our secure API (https://sense.instantcrush.com/api/make-sense).
No other data — such as cookies, login details, or browsing history — is collected or stored.
2. Local Data
We store small, non-personal preferences (like language, tone, and your recent summaries) locally on your device using Chrome storage.
You can clear this data at any time in the extension's settings.
3. Data Retention
Our API processes the page text in real time to generate a summary.
The text is not logged or saved on our servers after processing.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties.
All data processing is handled solely to deliver the summary feature.
5. Your Control
You can remove the extension at any time.
You can also clear any locally stored preferences in the extension's menu.
